Image file in public folder

Starting to use envoyer more and more. But one issue is the public/image folder. How can you NOT override that?

By default when you deploy it downloads a fresh laravel install and your packages and seems to override that particular folder.

How can I easily set a folder up to not be overridden when I deploy an update?
