Switch theme mode problem

I am using Tailwind and Preline via intertia. Including Vue 3. I am coding the theme mode change button as in preline. The external JS file of the button is defined on app.blade. The button works flawlessly when the site is first loaded. But when the intertia routes are clicked, the button does not work and the theme mode does not change. Where do you think the problem might be?
