Laravel Vue Assigning Permissions to Roles using Checkboxes

Hi!! I want to know what is the best approach on how can I persist checkbox checked state based from the values from database. Basically I want to tick checkboxes assigning/updating permissions to roles but when I go to my update component checkbox checked state are untick. thanks. Currently i am using laravel as backend and vue frontend. did googling but cant find answer. thanks
