Is there any roadmap of vapor connecting with DigitalOcean Functions which is a brand new product of DO and is on line with AWS Lamda ?
As far as I know, there won't be an integration with different providers. Vapor is tightly coupled to AWS. You basically would need to rebuild Vapor from scratch to couple it directly to DigitalOcean. Also, Vapor has some features that DigitalOcean doesn't support or works differently.
As far as I am aware, currently, DigitalOcean Functions won't run Laravel. Functions is designed to do what it is called, run functions and not complex applications. I would assume that this is one small step in a larger plan to offer a complete serverless offering in future, but for now, the best they have is DigitalOcean App Platform.
