Libraries for basic authorization/authentication system

Hello, I want to create a SPA application and need to ensure what libraries should I use to create authorization/authentication system for my API.

I was thinking about Zizaco/entrust + spatie/laravel-permission, but want to make sure is it good choice, since I couldn't find any examples, tutorials or projects, which use that libraries.

Do you have any suggestions for me?
