Best tools/services for startups or marketing

What tools/services do you guys use to learn info about turning your traffic into clients?

I use GA which shows about 1k people are using my site (http://emprego.io) daily but they arent really converting and I'm not learning anything about what more can be done.

I recently came across www.hotjar.com and it offered a great deal more info about what they are actually seeing and clicking on. So I wanted to know if there are other services out there i'm missing, specially qualitative vs quantitative analytics.

I'm also looking into getting direct customer feedback from users browsing the site but I want something that's not irritating to the user and doesnt seem spamy which surveymonkey seems to be so let me know if you have a good alternative.

Google analytics or new relic. Though suggest Google at first.

Bounce rate, pages view, user flow and where traffic is coming from are huge at first. The flow shows where users enter and leave your site. If you have a high bounce rate (30% or more) and manly your home page, it needs re thought out and updated etc.

If you enable the beta demographic data that's another huge data set to explore and make educated decisions on changes rather then guessing. Looking out side the box.

New relic is far more all encompassing but the free version is almost worthless and is expensive while Google is free(well not really as your helping Google collect data)

Hello! Thanks for the helpful post. When I started my business, there weren't such huge variations about different marketing pieces. I have tried a lot of things, although to tell the truth, I myself do not understand much about it. And recently I tried the canada call tracking /canada-ca/ . They well improve the whole procedure of conducting business research and analytics of work with clients.
