VSCode terminal not getting focus when running betterphpunit extension

This happens with the latest version of VSCode (1.64.2) on Ubuntu. When I press the shortcut to execute the better-php-unit command (alt+z on my laptop) the command executes but the focus of the cursor goes to the editor instead of going to the terminal.
