How test forked laravel package?

For example for this package laravel-paginateroute.

When I clone to local machine a run phpunit from console. I got some errors. Problem is becouse this return NULL.

probably nothing to do with your local setup, the test in the package are just failing, see their travis log: https://travis-ci.org/spatie/laravel-paginateroute/jobs/445607566

if you checkout the 2.7.0 tag, tests are passing OK so probably something broke in the meantime, see the diff to master https://github.com/spatie/laravel-paginateroute/compare/2.7.0..master
