Solved. I read another thread on this board and then upgraded my nodejs. Installed new spark project and login now works.

Unable to login to new Spark installation
Just installed Spark 2.0 on development platform. Get sparks login/register screen. But when submitting register it goes back to login screen. What do i need to do to create an admin user? Yes, I have read the kiosk and have set email in developers....but....still no answer. thanks.
