Team Announcements

Hi all,

I'm thinking of adding more functionality to my Teams in Spark. Is there any sort of easy way to allow team owners to send announcements to their team members that doesn't involve changing the announcement code (e.g., if (user_id = developer || user_id = team owner), show announcement)?

Thanks. I'd like to do as much as possible without breaking into the vendor files, of course.
