Schedule Announcements

Is there an easy way to set up announcements in Spark to release at a certain time/date in the future? I'm throwing this out there just in case there's an easy solution, before determining if I should spend the time hacking something together.

I don't know if it'd be as simple as adding a published_at column in the announcements table, then adding some conditional logic or a whereHas statement grabbing announcements only before the current time. Any advice would be welcome, thanks!
