Not creating team after upgrading to Spark 3.0

We use team billing and recently upgraded to Spark 3.0 (vue2.0 version). Now whenever a user is created it doesnt create a team for them. Instead it forwards to the /missing-team route.

Anyone have a similar issue? I have been digging around all day trying to figure it out, appreciate any help.
