Alerting Customers of Upcoming Invoice

Simple question: does Spark automatically notify customers of an upcoming subscription renewal (say, after a year has gone by), or do I have to code that myself? I know that Stripe can create an event that will fire before a new invoice is made, so users have a chance to cancel.

Thanks, I'm just not approaching one year with my first Spark app, and I'd rather not have to deal with angry customers who forgot they had subscribed!
