Laracasts.com is fine. When I try to stream a video, however, it can be very very slow to the point where downloading is the only option. Even then, downloads can take forever.
I've tested my connection many times and have a 50mps up/down according to speedtest. Any one else experiencing this lag?
Not much I can help with, but I do not have any lag and videos are pretty much finished loading within seconds of starting it. (100/10) Could be the cdn server you are connected to also. Don't think there is much @JefferyWay can do with that. My bet is that you will have to wait.

You could try and force refresh your DNS, no idea if it will work but it could help narrow it down.
50mps UP? are you serious? Sorry, I'm from the UK and that's unheard of. I have 100Mbps down but only reach 6Mbp up.
Do some speed tests and make sure you're getting what you think: http://www.speedtest.net/
Also, some providers throttle video from certain sources. What is YouTube and Vimeo like?

Youtube runs fine.
The only time I've accessed vimeo is most likely due to laracasts and sadly it has been much less then satisfactory
Not much I can do here. I've only received reports of lag from those who live in parts of the world with much slower connection speeds.
Every video offers a download button, so maybe use that, if streaming is an issue.
Well, I am surprised, is that a residential connection? I could use some more upload speed, anyways...
Try some more Vimeo content and see if that's the bottleneck. As others have stated, I have no problems with video from Laracasts.
Another note, even though I have great download speeds, contention can be an issue. Occasionally Youtube can grind to a halt at peak times. Do you experience the same issue all of the time?
For the last week, I've noticed that streaming laracasts has been bad. I do not watch Youtube really, but, I have not had an issue for any other site/service.
hi i half solved this with hola VPN i installed it and configured to work with vimeocdn as i live in us and then i download the video with decent speed
