I think this is by design and not quite as described here.

Yes, at first glance it appears that way, but the section(s) that run off the right of the screen by default are essentially a 'carousel' and if you scroll them left, they then disappear off the left side of the screen, rather than at the left margin.. so it appears it's a central page design, with "breakout" carousel sections.. and IMO, looks and functions OK.

Cheers..

Hey, everybody. That's intentional. You scroll the cards horizontally, as @ian_h said.

However - I do agree that on super widescreen displays, this looks a little odd. I'll see if we can make some adjustments to center it in those cases.

@JeffreyWay Hi Jeffery, different machine has different scroll behavior, on a windows machine the ui is little odd, I have to hover on the button to make it scroll. But on a mac machine , I only need to hover on the contents, it will scroll. Of cause no problem on any mobile device. I really doubt designer is working a mac, windows ux is not quite well.... BTW, left padding and right side bleeding, it makes my head lose balance, I think I need some time to get used to it. Thanks for the great work.

@jeffreyway I truly appreciate all the work that’s gone into making Laracasts such a valuable resource over the years. That said, I’m finding the new arcade-style interface a bit overwhelming. Visually, it feels like a lot to process, and it’s been straining on the eyes as I navigate the platform.

If possible, I’d really love to see an option in the UI preferences to soften the visual design—maybe with rounded corners on elements like buttons and input fields. Small changes like that could really help reduce the cognitive load and make the experience more comfortable.
