How about a drop-down box as someone is filling in a new subject for a forum post that has popular other post on that subject and popular Topics from the documentation on that subject whereby if they pick something from the drop-down it will go to that link rather than posting a new thread on an already answered question such as how to deploy to HostGator, how do I paginate, how to deploy to digital ocean where they actually have a video tutorial and things of this nature. Also how to do Ajax in laravel which has been answered so many times before. At least 15 to 30 others could be in drop down.
I agree with something similar to this, I see countless posts everyday on how something isn't working or how to achieve this. One of the most annoying ones is laravel 5.2 out-of-the-box authentication, seems that people don't read the documentation on Laravel nor search the forums here first as it's always the same questions.
Then again, there is nothing more annoying than someone that posts "I'm having the same problem" on a thread that is a year old.
At the top of the Forum there is that search box I just wonder how many people use it.
The search box kind of blends in with the threads, not easy to spot it if you've never used it before.
