'Remember' current watched time - feature request
It would be useful if a screencast remembers the 'watched' time of the video.
My use cases:
-
Every morning I have only 1 or 2 hours to go through Laracasts videos. Most of the time, my 'study time' finishes when I am in a middle on the screencast. And so what I do (seriously) is jotting down where I was in the video on a piece of paper, and on the next day I am manually clicking through the 'time bar' in the video to get to that time, e.g. @3:15.
-
When I watch screencasts, I am almost always going back and forth between the code editor, Laracasts tab in Chrome, terminal, other tabs in Chrome (I don't have a 2nd screen). And so I'm accidentally triggering back button all the time (ALT+Left Arrow shortcut, which is the same shortcut used in VSCode for going to a previous edit point). And I have to spend a few seconds each time looking for a point in the video I was at.
If the screencast remembers my progress in the video, it would solve both of the above headaches. It doesn't have to be super accurate. Storing the progress every 5-10 seconds would be enough. Such a feature is implemented e.g. on Coursera or EdX.
