Overflow Issue on forum pages in Firefox

I am starting a new chapter by going back to Firefox after all these years, I noticed a frustrating bug on the forum page. I am using Firefox 57.0.4 (64-bit) on a Macbook, it looks like the forum questions are overflowing under the aside on the right, and the responses are overflowing over the aside.

Using inspector I noticed the issue is resolved by adding overflow-x: auto to the column element wrapping the forum-question div. Adding this directly to the .column css does not appear to have negative impacts in either Chrome or Firefox and resolves the issue.
