if you work on small branches and commit often then you don't need to keep dev copies at all as it will be easy enough to restore from your remote repository if you ever have system or disk failure.

Local Dev files in iCloud Documents?
So I'm really drinking the Kool-Aid now. Previously I kept my local dev files in a sync directory with Google Drive. Now, I'm considering using Apple's iCloud directory.
cd ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/
Anyone doing this?

@automica, maybe I'm being a bit pedantic. I do push a copy of my work to the server, but I have been known for being slow to commit... just ask my Persian girlfriend. 💍
