@siangboon That's on purpose. If you want to navigate elsewhere, just click " Browse Series" in the top left and the video will float at the bottom.

Laracasts - Top navigation header bar disappear on lesson page
I found that the top navigation header bar is missing on lesson page from screen resolution size at 992px onward, I'm not sure whether it's purposely design in that way or not, but I think and prefer the top navigation to be always available for easy navigation especially after completed the episode...

Noted, It's just an extra click and limited the navigation options from now on, anyhow it's still ok for me, will get used to it...
Perhaps, my habit is a bit weird, the floating video feature seem a bit annoying to me as I usually open multiple tabs especially searching or reading/replying some threads and sometimes will just leave it for awhile and watching the lessons, but once I browse to the other tabs while the video was playing, all the tabs will show the floating video and I have to close all one by one., anyhow, will get used to it too..
By the way, I found another little issue that after clicking on the notification item link while on the page (I opened the page from email before clicking the notification item) where the notification item link supposed to redirect to, the blue bell icon and the notification item will remain there no matter how many times I repeatedly click it. anyway, it's not a big deal since it will just disappear once the page is hard refreshed or closed.

If you don't want a floating video player, you can disable it in your account settings area.
