Laracasts is slow and throws errors for Europeans

I have noticed that Laracasts is kind of slow, the responsivity and interactions are like twice or thrice as long as I experience on other similar pages. Is it hosted only in the US?

Personally, I would either bump the number of servers or redo the code or server settings - is cloudflare really the best option even though it appears to be closer to me (Bratislava)?, because it doesn't help with the dismissing of the widely held Laravel-being-slow opinion - when the main forum is indeed slow - at least for Europeans.
