Beginner projects!
Hey guys I'm a video producer that is learning Laravel and PHP. I've tried a few other languages but realized that PHP just clicked. I have loved Laracasts and the Laravel community thus far but have found it hard to find a good location to find good projects idea as a beginner who is trying to learn to build things because as developers we want to build things.
I've decided to start this thread to hopefully have an ongoing discussion and idea generation for those of us learning this awesome language!
Thus far here are some app ideas I think are good to start out with:
- todo app
- quote generator
- pokedex search
- favorite movie journal
- twitter clone
- building a site with laravel
- building a site with statamic
If you have any ideas or have had other projects that you found helped please them down below!

True but with statamic and packages like canvas I'm not sure I'd want to building something from scratch like that. Mostly because I'd use those other resources.

Hi there, I thik it would be cool if we could share a youtube tutorial in case we find one that is really easy to follow, I am begginer too and need to build something easy for my homework so let me know
