Which host is easier to use?

I'm about to finish my website which mostly allows users to upload how many images they want. I have zero knowledge in Linux so I'm not sure which hosting will be easier for me to use. I'm thinking about either DigitalOcean or AWS. Which is more friendly? At the moment I prefer not to use Laravel forge, I want first to try to do it myself, and if I fail I will use Forge

I think the most friendly Laravel hosting is DigitalOcean, as you said go ahead and play with DigitalOcean if you can't get it to work then use Forge and you will set up your Laravel application in a few seconds.

If you have zero knowledge about Linux, dont use any of these!

Go ahead and host your application on http://www.fortrabbit.com/laravel-hosting or something.

Sure you can setup a DigitalOcean Server with forge within secounds. But there`s a lot more work then only install a few things.

What is if someone tries to hack your server? What if you get a DDoS attack? What if you nginx server crashes? You have to update your machine each few days etc. etc. etc.
