Vagrant VMware freezes

Hey. I bought the vmware plugin for vagrant, with the hope to get rid of virtualbox slowliness and bugs on windows. Homestead installation went without problems, I can boot up the machine. Edited the hosts file and the pages open. The problem is that if you try to register/login , you get TokenMismatchException with a fresh project, and after 2-3 pages, the server takes really long to respond. I'm using VMware workstation pro 12.5.0. Any ideas what can be the cause?
