Using Forge API to create aliases and install letsecrypt

I am trying to use Forge API to create aliases for my servers and install letsecrypt. I have successfully created the aliases but one of my aliases is a wildcard domain so I am asked to enter a dns_provider.type and not sure what keys are needed in the request or how to send the request at this point cause this is not in the api documentation
