How can I override http Date response header under Apache2.4?

I am working on a test-helper which sets and send manipulated http Date response header to support client test(e.g. Android application must show alert once after 5th of every month).

The client receives manipulated Date header when the server is using Nginx.

But NOT with Apache 2.4.10.

The application's time manipulation was ok when I tinker Carbon::now() both Nginx/Apache env.

Any hint? Or is the Apache's Date header completely unsettable from application side?
