Deploying a dynamic Laravel site to static hosting (eg now/netlify)

Hey All!

I was wondering if there's others out there deploying Laravel sites to static hosting? We've currently got our site deployed to netlify, but we're we're going to need some more dynamic API driven stuff soon. We use the spatie laravel export package.

I've seen that it's possible to deploy PHP code to Vercel now with a custom runtime. I was wondering if anyone has ever managed to get a laravel site staticlly hosted, but the API working via serverless functions?
