You'd use the SSH tunnel Basically add in your SSH details on to Sequel Pro SSH tab, and that should work.
I think Jeffrey did a video on this a while back, but I can't remember which off the top of my head.

Connecting to MySQL on DigitalOcean
How does one connect to a digital ocean server for mysql via Sequel Pro, I've added my SSH key and have the IP address and login details but unable to connect. This is not a Forge setup, but more of a manual setup on Digital Ocean.
Just wondered if one of you lot could help me out :)

Yes I know how to tunnel when it's a Forge server, but I'm either missing some details from the client or it's just not connecting,

This does use forge, but forge is pretty much a front-end for digitalocean in that respect, so most settings should still be the same.
