PHP storm and php artisan

I have virtual box with Vagrant and Homestead on my macbook. seems like i'm having some issues with m terminal and IDE not really working together.

when I php artisan make:controller FlyersController the terminal says Controller created successfully but it is no where to be found on PHPstorm.. not sure what I did...

little help...

In your Project Window on left hand side. Right mouse click on the top item of your Project Folder tree and click on Synchronize on the Bottom third of your menu.

still no luck, i can see the FlyersController.php in my terminal and navigate to the directory but no luck having it populate on my PHPstorm...

Probably a stupid question, but phpstorm is pointed at the correct codebase, yes?

if i make a view or change something within PHPstorm the changes show up, that FlyerController was the first php artisan command i ran that should populate something on PHPstorm. Hope that helps.
