PHP code inside Blade

Hi,

i'm using this inside a Blade template:

<? $lastmonth=$row['date']; ?>

Is there a way to use Blade syntax for this? I don't want to use any PHP code inside the templates...

You can extend blade to include a set function. See this thread, https://laracasts.com/discuss/channels/laravel/useful-blade-directives and the post by @zachleigh

Once you add the set method you can do @set($lastmonth,$row['date']) --- I think thats the syntax!
