Can Forge still deploy with PHP 5.6 and not 7?

I just signed up for Forge a few days ago. I am hoping to migrate some sites to new servers with DO. Some of the sites have some legacy code on it that is no longer in PHP 7 which is the only option I see to deploy a server. Is there a way to deploy with 5.6. I want to setup some on 5.6 and the newer ones on 7 so I will have multiple servers but I can't see any way to to 5.6. I thought I saw in some screencasts a checkbox for 5.6 but not when I am in my account.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you create a new forge instance select php 5. Whatever. Was an option couple weeks ago.

I don't see it as an option anymore. Maybe they took that away for some reason.

Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but @chriss39 did you find a solution or more information about this? I need to use php5 too, and the most recent info I can find about it is this post.

I did not. I figure only way would be to go in and uninstall php and install whatever version you need. Kind of defeats the purpose of Forge at that point IMO.
