Using Nova's v-tooltip, can I set the max width of the tooltip in a custom field?

I'm building a custom field that is an extension of the Line field so that I can display a snippet of text as a "preview" and then hover over it to see the full text in a tooltip. However, the available v-tooltip just puts it all in one line.

Aside from writing a parser that forces HTML line breaks after a certain number of characters, is there any way to set the max-width of one of the Nova tooltips?
