Pagination change refreshes the page? That shouldn't be in Livewire and so far I have had no problems, but now refreshes?!?
<?php
namespace App\Http\Livewire;
use Livewire\Component;
use Livewire\WithPagination;
use App\Models\Post;
use App\Models\Comment;
class BrowseComments extends Component
{
use WithPagination;
public $post;
public function mount(Post $post)
{
$this->post = $post;
}
public function render()
{
return view('livewire.browse-comments', [
'comments' => $this->post->comments()->paginate(3)
]);
}
public function paginationView()
{
return 'livewire._custom-pagination-links-view';
}
}
Ok, this default "custom" pagination links cause the problem...
I'm guessing you're not using wire:click in your custom pagination view.
I used example from livewire docs
@if ($paginator->hasPages())
<nav role="navigation" aria-label="Pagination Navigation" class="flex justify-between">
{{-- Previous Page Link --}}
@if ($paginator->onFirstPage())
<span class="relative inline-flex items-center px-4 py-2 text-sm font-medium text-gray-500 bg-white border border-gray-300 cursor-default leading-5 rounded-md">
{!! __('pagination.previous') !!}
</span>
@else
<a href="{{ $paginator->previousPageUrl() }}" rel="prev" class="relative inline-flex items-center px-4 py-2 text-sm font-medium text-gray-700 bg-white border border-gray-300 leading-5 rounded-md hover:text-gray-500 focus:outline-none focus:shadow-outline-blue focus:border-blue-300 active:bg-gray-100 active:text-gray-700 transition ease-in-out duration-150">
{!! __('pagination.previous') !!}
</a>
@endif
{{-- Next Page Link --}}
@if ($paginator->hasMorePages())
<a href="{{ $paginator->nextPageUrl() }}" rel="next" class="relative inline-flex items-center px-4 py-2 text-sm font-medium text-gray-700 bg-white border border-gray-300 leading-5 rounded-md hover:text-gray-500 focus:outline-none focus:shadow-outline-blue focus:border-blue-300 active:bg-gray-100 active:text-gray-700 transition ease-in-out duration-150">
{!! __('pagination.next') !!}
</a>
@else
<span class="relative inline-flex items-center px-4 py-2 text-sm font-medium text-gray-500 bg-white border border-gray-300 cursor-default leading-5 rounded-md">
{!! __('pagination.next') !!}
</span>
@endif
</nav>
@endif
It is because of cache error try to run below commands and hard refresh it,
php artisan optimize
php artisan config:cache
composer dump-autoload
@munazzil That's not even close. Do you even understand what you're responding to?
No then you can enlighten me?
never run these commands in development
php artisan optimize
php artisan config:cache
From livewire docs:
"When using either method, instead of anchor tags in your pagination component, you should use wire:click handlers with the following methods:
nextPage to navigate to the next page
previousPage to navigate to the previous page
gotoPage($page) to navigate to a specific page."
@if ($paginator->hasMorePages())
<button wire:click="nextPage" dusk="nextPage.after" rel="next" class="relative inline-flex items-center px-2 py-2 -ml-px text-sm font-medium text-gray-500 bg-white border border-gray-300 rounded-r-md leading-5 hover:text-gray-400 focus:z-10 focus:outline-none focus:border-blue-300 focus:shadow-outline-blue active:bg-gray-100 active:text-gray-500 transition ease-in-out duration-150" aria-label="{{ __('pagination.next') }}">

</button>
@else
<span aria-disabled="true" aria-label="{{ __('pagination.next') }}">
