Tried hosting on cpanel and then got this error

[01-Apr-2020 15:02:49 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?', expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home/aigbohayche/hayche-dashboard/vendor/zendframework/zend-diactoros/src/functions/marshal_uri_from_sapi.php on line 83

please i need help urgently i have changed the version of my cpanel to 7.0 yet am still getting the error

You did not mention anything about what version you are using.

Also check all of your logs.

Seems the error is concerning a wrong PHP version.

Php version was 5.6 but i upgraded to 7.0 on the cpanel yet it didnt work

Laravel 5.6 requires PHP >= 7.1.3.

What laravel version are you using. You can't leave out detail when asking, we have no idea how to help without laravel and php version, OS, etc.

Thats the issue... The server only has max of 7.0

See if the hosting company can put a higher version on there.

thanks work in progress. i contacted the hosting company @jlrdw but i still got another error Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
