Hi! This is my first time posting here. Hooray
I have a project that tag items as receive/transmit. Then I need to display separately items to be receive and items to be transmit. My current approach for this is I created ReceiveController and TransmitController. But after watching laracast tutorial about 7 restful api I'm trying to apply it and make ItemController that handles both receive and transmit items. Am I in the right path? Any tips will do. Thank you
It depends on your application and how you want to interact with the backend.
If you are going for a SPA or you want to give other applications access to yours then you should use the API approach.
If you are doing a MPA without ajax then stick to your controllers.
Are you using a single table or two tables for your tags?
Currently I'm using two tables.
What kind of application are you building? Some sort of messaging queue?
I'm building an item tracking, it tracks where/what department the item/file currently in.
