Hi everyone,
Any idea how I can charge half of the amount as a deposit and the rest of the amount I want to charge after 5 minutes with no user input.

Then I suggest that you try something and come back with an actual question. Me explaining things at a high level to you won't help you to get to your goal. Explaining everything in detail is pretty hard and very time consuming. You have here on the Laracasts lessons about how to charge users and I'm sure there is something similar on YouTube. So watch those and jumpstart your current position.

What is the business reason for spreading the payments over five minutes? Seems a bit pointless to me.

Charging an identical amount after five minutes without user input will probably result in blocking your account since it feels like fraudulent behavior.
