Shared Hosting on Hostmonter
I recently just deployed my Laravel 5 app on a shared hosting account as an add-on that is a sub-domain. It has it's own dot com tld and I was very surprised at how easy it was.
After you do the basics of registering a domain and associating it with your account, the sub-directory will be created for you.
When assigning the domain, there is a drop-down that only has this location(so far).
If you either create a child directory of public here, or load your app here before assigning it... this location of (your-ad-on-domain-folder)/public will be there to select. Once you have done these steps, your site should be available.
