Sail without restarting Docker

Sail used to work fine, I'd use sail up without issue even after a long while without using it, assuming Docker Desktop was opened. But these days, sail up doesn't do anything and I found out that restarting Docker Desktop makes it work again, at least on mac.

What changed and is there any way to make it work without restarting Docker Desktop?
