Recommend : WYSIWYG Editor for Laravel????

We currently use an old version of Trumbowyg in our application.

What can you recommend as we're getting weird tags being inserted that we cannot trace and think an alternative might be needed.

I've looked at TinyMCE but it looks too poweful for our needs.

What are your recommendations?
