Point Document Root to public folder

Hi,

In my new job, my company bought share hosting from w3hub. We have a application that built by laravel 5.

To live application, I've upload application to server and as usual, trying to point to public folder. In the hosting cpanel, I can't find anywhere to configure document root to point to public. By default they are pointing to public_html folder.

Then I asked hosting support to point to public_html/public for my domain. Now they haven't reply yet. But when I looked around on google, some hosting such as hostgator not allowed to change document root.

Anybody had kind of this problem before? Normally I used digital ocean and manage myself to point to specific domain and root folder. I can't find anywhere in cpanel to configure for document root. Now is I'm calling my application with word 'public' in the url. :(

Please suggest.

Thanks
