My opinion is that Laravel 10 has a better structure than 12.

After exploring Laravel 12 and facing some challenges, I wanted to share my opinion: in my view, Laravel 10 has a better structure compared to version 12. With Laravel 10, I found it easier to write code and get things done quickly. But in Laravel 12, for the core tasks I usually perform, I noticed that some files I used to rely on (which were readily available before) no longer exist. This forces me to search for alternatives, but unfortunately, there aren’t many comprehensive resources for Laravel 12 yet.

AI tools also haven’t been very helpful with Laravel 12 so far. That’s why I wanted to personally share my feedback, hoping it might reach the core Laravel team for consideration. With six years of Laravel experience and dozens of successful projects, this has been my perspective. I’d be happy to hear your thoughts as well — maybe I’m missing something :)

You took a break from coding then resumed to jump into laravel 12?

@jsanwo64 where does it say he had a break?

And, what, you want them to start a new project on an old version? Your comment sounds like "hey you're not ready for Laravel 12" which actually just reinforces the fact that you think Taylor went too far in minimising.
