Laravel Project Deployment

Hi! It's been a fun experience trying to learn Laravel and this community has been welcoming. I'm finally at a stage where I can pretty much say that I'm content with my project. Now I want to try uploading my website to the internet through a hosting site. Is their any you recommend?(preferably free)

@Sinnbeck thanks for the recommendation. I never heard of a VPS before. Would you recommend it to someone like me with no prior experience?

@Bunnypants it just means virtual private server. So a full server but hardly any money. Think the cheapest at digital ocean is $5. But naturally it will require that you learn a bit of Linux and such as you need to set up both apache2 (or nginx), mysql and php. Maybe to get started a cheap share hosting like one.com is fine

If it is a hobby project look into: Fly.io OR Render. They both have decent free plans.

@pjr I am not sure about Fly. But, Render does have free PostgreSQL.

Also, there is PlanetScale just for database. And, Mongo Atlas for NoSQL. Both with generous free plan.
