why would you need it when you have said that you have no front-end assets ( by specifying api)

Laravel Breeze: package.json gets deleted after php artisan breeze:install api
Has anyone ever installed the breeze API and had package.json erased?

Hi @Snapey I just want to understand if this is the correct behavior when installing breeze with api stack. It's my first time to use the api stack.

I did the same thing now. I just wanted Breeze whitout React, or Vue, or Bootstrap, or Tailwind. I tought that "api" meaning was just the site's backend without views nor css.
