are you using HLS or DASH?? i havent tried using idm but other video downloader will not work using HLS or DASH protocols.

Is there a way to Stop IDM from download my videos
I am using a Vimeo pro account to host and playback my videos on my app also I have this video lock behind a paid subscription.
But I have come to realize that anyone watching these videos can download them using a software call IDM (Internet download manager). Is there a way to prevent this software from having access to these videos?

HLS, IDM Can also download from Laracast, Youtube, Linkin, and other video sites I have tried it on.

Accept it as a part of doing business.
You're sending data to the client. If they want to find some way to retain that data, they will.
Don't load the video and expose the vimeo URL unless they are authed.
You can go out of your way, spend time finding & implementing some expensive (comparatively) DRM solution that will annoy your legitimate customers and the end result if it works? Those who want to steal your videos will just record their screen.
Spend your time becoming popular enough that people will go to such trouble.
