image/intervention

i am trying to upload a image in my blog post.it is showing an error NotSupportedException in Driver.php line 16: GD Library extension not available with this PHP installation. i actually googled it and got to know that my xampp need to add php library called gd2,so i did it and removed the semicolon there and saved the file.but it still is showing the same error i have restarted my server many times as well.
