500 means server error, looks what logs say, storage/logs/laravel.log usually, also there are server logs ( nginx, apache )

How to deploy a web app in cpnell
Hello guys am new to this, and I have zero knowledge about all of this, but I need your help. Recently, I baught a web app, from eskooly From the document, it was developed using Laravel. I have tried following the instructions, but I ended up with error 500. I have tried contacting eskooly providers, but there has been no help from them. May someone help me here or direct me on how to go about it.

@dartutors just FYI, there are several good past post where myself and others has covered setting up laravel on shared host (cpanel).
Also some of the host has guides you can follow.
Edit:
Make sure you point to public as document root. Also it's best to have main laravel out of web.
