Failed to open stream: no such file or directory

include<C:...................laravel/framework/src/illuminate/Foundation/Providers/CompoerServiceProvider.php: failed to open stream: no such file or directory at C:..........vendor\composer\ClassLoader.php:444 prevents access to $this/self from included files. .................

I am not able to create model, each time I use the php artisan make:model it comes with the error.

Previously I tried to create my own provider and got no success on it so I removed the file. No what should I do to fix it?

Look inside config/app.php and see if there are any unwanted service providers in the 'providers' => [...] array? Remove them if there are. Your error log is also too short, show more.

@laracoft @automica After running this composer dump-autoload I have now...

In Application.php line 690: Class 'Illuminate\Foundation\Providers\ComposerServiceProvider' not found

Hi @webfuelcode

It seems like you might have a typo somewhere?

You are missing an s in Composer according to this error:

include<C:...................laravel/framework/src/illuminate/Foundation/Providers/CompoerServiceProvider.php

If it still does not work, show your config/app.php

Ok, config/app.php looks good. Please show FULL error log for php artisan make:model <whatever>

webfuelcode's avatar

@laracoft I used composer dump-autoload and after then I see different error..whenever I use php artisan [command]

So I see the same error on php artisan help and php artisan make:model Page -mcr . It shows me this...

In Applicaton.php line 690: In Application.php line 690: Class 'Illuminate\Foundation\Providers\ComposerServiceProvider' not found

laracoft's avatar

@webfuelcode In the interest of helping everyone to move on, can you create another Laravel project and see if it solves your issue?

MarianoMoreyra's avatar

@webfuelcode also, before you follow @laracoft suggestion...

Have you tried what @automica suggested before?

try deleting your /vendor directory and then run

composer install

Because that error is saying that it's not finding a Service Provider that comes with Laravel's core Framework! So I believe that if you haven't already tried it, you should definitely should give it a try now.

webfuelcode's avatar

@marianomoreyra @laracoft Nothing helped me, not even deleting the /vendor directory and running composer install

Even I tried to create the new project and move files from the old to newer project one by one. But I got some error...so I think I can remove composer and laravel and do it again and then move/create the same files again.

While doing backup, I have noticed laravel project has very large files. Even a small project has almost 5k - 8k files. For me here I am still learning and working on the relationship and admin side view file took me almost weeks and now the files are over 26k each. I can not even upload on google drive ..it says 2-3 hrs remaining for uploading only 3 projects.

Am I fool that I have such large files or laravel normally requires it...I am thinking what will I do when project is ready. How could I get the project to others...or may be I have slow connection
