Well it says it can't find the service provider in your config/app.php file. You might first need to remove it from your config/app.php file. Add the package by running composer install clarification/sparkpost-laravel-driver and only "after" that add the service provider to the config/app.php file.

Also in your logs I see "Removing clarification/sparkpost-laravel-driver (1.2.4)" on the first line. It looks like you removed the package and therefore the php artisan clear-compiled failed. You either need to install the package like I said above or remove the service provider from config/app.php

thanks for this , i did that and the error was gone, but i still have difficulties upgrading my laravel version and i will need to do that because i will some packages for generating my site map and they require a laravel or other package upgrade , the problem i am having now is that when ever i update a package to another version another package will need either a lower or higher version to run

You need to update the version of this package laravelcollective/html. You can simply do that in your composer.json file and run composer install again. Just read the error message carefully! It's all there!

yes i noticed this but if i update a particular package to a different version another package will require the lower version, is there a way i can install 2 versions of the same package ?

bobbybouwmann's avatar

You can run composer update and see if everythings is updated at once. However some packages require other packages so you should look at each package and see if you can use the latest of them or not!

this what i have been doing but it seem like some packages only work with a particular version of another package which might need an upgrade for another package to work..i just keep on beating around this bush

If u cant install package from composer u can install manually package

Follow these steps 1.Download the zip file from https://github.com/laravel/laravel

2.Extract the contents of zip file into a directory

3.Use cd to go into ur directory where u extracted the files

From terminal run composer update

After composer finishes updating the dependency run composer dump-autoload

Hope this helps
