Deploy Laravel on Shared Hosting without SSH

Hello guys , i just created a project on github that allow me to deploy laravel project on shared hostign with FTP , without using SSH

but i just want to know if this solution are secure ? i have already created .htaccess file and deny user from access to .env file .
