Creating a spreadsheet like graphical overview of bookings in laravel

Hi, I have created a booking webbapp for my company, and I'm now trying to make a spreadsheet like graphical overview so as to easily see when equipment is booked and when its free.

I've posted a question to stack overflow, but haven't really gotten any help. The post contains code, and pictures, which i cant seem to post here on laracast, so i figured the best solution would be to link to the question on stack overflow.
